Technology
- In my Direct Instruction Lesson Plan on Degrees and Radians, the students will use TI-84 graphing calculators to solve problems using degrees and radians. The students will discover many tips and tricks using the calculator that will aid them in displaying degree and radian measures. Here is the activity and the graphic organizer with answer key.
- In my Inquiry Lesson, I will use the SMART Board to engage student learning. The students will participate in two interactive activities in which they will drag labels to label the sides of a triangle and slide items to reveal formulas. The SMART Board is a great way to keep students engaged and interacting with the lesson. Here is my SMART Board Lesson.
- In my Inquiry and Choice Lessons, students will use their cell phones and a website called polleverywhere.com to engage in discussion. Students will be able to use their cell phones for education purposes to propose ideas and answer questions that will help them to engage in class discussions.
- In my Cooperative Learning Review Lesson, the students will take an online quiz on the Unit Circle using iPads. This virtual manipulative will help to assess student understanding. In this lesson, students will also use the iPads to create a study guide that will be posted to the class website. This use of technology will make it easier for students to share information with their peers.
